Faunia, Zoo and Parque Warner: 3 Halloween plans in Madrid
Published on · 3 min read

If it rains at Parque Warner, you go again for free. Faunia brings Trick or Treat by Superthings and Madrid Zoo introduces Max, its baby elephant. Dates, times and tips for Halloween in Madrid.
October in Madrid has one problem: too many plans. This year, three parks step it up at the same time.
Here's what's on at each one, which days to go and how to make the most of it.
⚡ In 30 seconds
Parque Warner (30 Sep - 4 Oct): if it rains for 2 hours during your visit, you come back for free.
Faunia (weekends from 3 Oct to 1 Nov, plus 12 Oct and 2 Nov): Trick or Treat by Superthings, with a free Superthing.
Madrid Zoo (now): meet Max, the baby Sumatran elephant. Free talks at 13:30 and 16:00.
Madrid Zoo (24-25 and 31 Oct, 1 Nov): family Halloween workshops.
☔ Parque Warner: if it rains, you go again
The classic fear: you pay for the ticket and it rains all day. This week at Parque Warner Madrid, that works in your favour.
If you go with an online ticket and it rains for a total of 2 hours during your visit (even if not in a row), you can come back for free on another day until 10 January 2027.
When: only if you enter the park between 30 September and 4 October.
How: you claim it the same day at the park's Customer Service desk.
Heads up: it only applies to full-day tickets. Scary Nights tickets aren't included.
💡 UW tip: rain in the forecast? Don't cancel. Worst case, you get a second day. Just stop by Customer Service before you leave, because it won't work the next day.

🎃 Faunia: Trick or Treat by Superthings
The Superthings are taking over Faunia this Halloween. The activity is a series of themed talks about endangered species and the threats facing nature, featuring animals that command a bit of respect: snakes, bats and Komodo dragons.
When: Saturdays and Sundays from 3 October to 1 November, plus the public holidays on 12 October and 2 November.
What you get: a photo with Enigma, one of the star characters of Superthings, and a free Superthing for joining the talks.
Price: included in your park ticket.
There will also be themed activities and surprises all around the park.
💡 UW tip: the free Superthings are limited. Go to the first talks of the day, especially on holidays and Halloween weekend.

🐘 Zoo Aquarium de Madrid: meet Max
The Zoo has a new neighbour. Max is a Sumatran elephant calf, a subspecies of Asian elephant that is critically endangered. Every birth counts, which is why the Zoo is celebrating.
He was born on 5 August weighing 98 kg and standing 90 cm tall. Yes, that's a normal baby for his species.
Special talks: at 13:30 and 16:00, in front of the elephant enclosure.
Price: free for Zoo visitors.
💡 UW tip: plan your visit around one of the two talks. Get there a few minutes early for a good spot.
